This was great. I love that you acknowledge that Damon and her don't know each other that well because they really never talk about the little things it's all life and death. The cooking of the cookies scene was brilliant and heart-warming. Sequel? Them going on a date a series of dates maybe? I would read that in a heartbeat.

Brilliant. I loved the details. the scene of them baking, both aware of the fact they don't know the little things about each other.

I also loved Stefan and Katherine role in this fiction.

And the line Elena was choosing him, was just perfect.

I guess we need a sequel.

This is beautiful. <3 I'd love to see something like that in canon, for once without the express emoing. And that thing about them not really knowing each other all that well is so true: they really need to just talk, without all the suicidal planning and life or death situations. :))

I especially laughed when Damon said, "Poor baby," to Stefan. LOL, oh Damon, you short-sighted little shit. And Elena asking what Stefan thought of Damon baking for Matt. (You know Damon likes Matt, he knows what position he plays in football!) And them arguing about who was avoiding who...so typical.

Damon's nervousness at asking Elena out was so cute, too. Just...gah. I love them so much. Thank you, so much. I went to bed early last night and totally missed seeing it. But that just made my birthday go on longer when I checked my email today! It's perfect!

i loved this. It's hard to imagine Elena having just causal sex with Stefan, and him actually agreeing, i thought that was interesting. And also, I would love to have a scene where Damon and Elena actually get to know each other, like actually getting to know each other. But I think as a vampire, he probably notices and knows a lot about her, just from watching her, which he does a lot, without her knowledge, lol.
It would be really cute to see them go out in a real date.
