During World War One, he and Damon had reachd a fragile detente for a few years; they used to run a scheme on beautiful women back then, using their good looks and charm to lull the women into a false sense of security before taking her back to wherever they were staying.

Um, can you say flashback episode? Hell, I would love a whole spin-off of Damon and Stefan carousing during WW1.

I love scheming Stefan. I'm excited to see more of his darker side come out next season. Thank you for writing this.
