Aaand pardon me while I resist the urge to keymash. I always shipped Alaric/Elena in the passive way that doesn't require going out and searching for fic. But I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to stop, now that I've read this one. I love how it was short and understated, but there was so much going on beneath the surface. Great job! ♥
