Oooh, that's so realistic! My dad used to brush his unshaven face on my shoulder and run away laughing at my squeals but wow Alaric grabbing Elena's hips and holding her still is less innocent and much more intimate. I can totally see this the beginning of something.

By the way, I laughed so hard at her "homeless" comment. *stays glued to your Elena/Alaric fics*

Thanks! I'm really hoping they get more screen time together next season. I think Nina and Matt have such great chemistry (though really, who doesn't she have chemistry with?)

Haha, since I started watching TVD I've wondered if my family was just super non touchy-feely or if the Miranda and Grayson had just taught their kids to be cuddle monkeys. [Or both.] Jeremy and Elena cozy up in ways my little brother and I never, ever would! One scene in particular sticks out - I don't remember what episode it is, but Jeremy's just hanging out with his head in Elena's lap...

This is going to be a longer fic? I can't wait! Your pantry scene is bringing teh hawt.

Spam away! Given that I mostly write pairings that aren't that popular, I love to get reviews when people actually read it.

I'm mildly obsessed with Alaric/Elena. Like, I know it will never happen in a million years but I really, really wish the show would get dark enough to do it.

I'm about 98% certain this snippet is going to make it in this angsty Alaric/Jenna/Elena triangle fic I'm writing.
