Alto opened the door when he heard the knock, a playful smile on his face. "Come on in," he greeted quickly, stepping aside. The table was set in preparation for a tea of three, with the pastries that he had bullied out of the chef earlier that day (he was getting good at that).

"Mikhail would be back soon," Alto explained, glancing at the clock. "He knows I always have tea breaks around this time."

Belle had been about to ask where Alto's friend was and nodded when he said the other was out. She stepped inside with a little nod, taking off her shoes and putting them next to the door. "You're sure he'll be back? Though I suppose we could just have a pleasant little tea then." And if she was honest, she would probably enjoy that just as much as the trick they were going to play.

She took the pills out of her pocket and put them in Alto's hand with a mischievous little grin. "Here, I'm told they dissolve best in something hot... oh are those the strawberry tarts? I love those!" There was definitely something to be said for the food at the Magnolia, even if Tsubaki had seen fit to limit her food intake to keep her at what the woman thought of as an 'ideal weight.'

At least their food was fresh and a high calorie diet wasn't all that terrible when you consider the amount of exercise that they did. (That was, if you consider sex an exercise, Alto was beginning to note that his stomach and hip muscles were getting stronger, if anything.)

"I got them from the chef," Alto smiled and pocketed the pills. He would put them in Mikhail's tea when the man turned up then. "There are some danishes too."

Maybe it was the fat content or something else that Tsubaki was concerned about, since regardless of whether you thought of it as exercise or not, their job burned a lot of calories. "He must like you, I think Tsubaki told the chef not to give me a lot of sweets. I might have to use you as a supplier." She smiled, picking up one of the tarts and nibbling on it.

"How have you been?" She thought that having someone here he knew might make being here not seem so bad, but they hadn't seemed to get along in the bit of video that she'd seen. Then again, Alto wouldn't be letting him stay here if they weren't good friends.
