I got carried away ...rossociliegiaApril 16 2009, 23:05:01 UTC
Grell Sutcliff didn't quite know what to do with himself. On the one hand, William had left him alone in the Godforsaken wreck of a city that call itself Toshima, but on the other ... the constraint of the rules had been lifted overnight! No more reports, no more little 'check ups' to make sure he was behaving himself, an no more invisible boundaries that, if crossed, would result in a severe beating. He was devastated that William had left him without so much as a goodbye, and hurt that he hadn't considered taking him with him, but Grell certainly would not deny that maybe, just maybe, there was a faint glimmer of relief at his superior's sudden disappearance

As the minutes passed Ciel was becoming progressively more and more irritated. Grell had said he would be here, but he was obviously late, something Ciel could do without at the moment. Just as he began to toe the ground with one of the uncomfortable shoes he was wearing the flashy presence of another ceased his bored fidgeting instantly.
This...person was strikingly different in regards to the Grell he had unfortunately come to know. Instead of incompetence they oozed overzealous confidence. Perhaps flamboyant would be the perfect word to describe the person before him. The most obvious difference was the choice of attire and...overwhelming amount of red. If anything, Grell could quite easily pass as a woman, if not for the low toned voice and disturbingly sharp teeth. [Ciel certainly didn't remember those.]
Pulling the blanket tighter around himself Ciel glanced upward, inwardly grimacing at the pointed smile. "You certainly weren't so...red."
Shh, there was absolutely no double post.rossociliegiaApril 16 2009, 23:37:46 UTC
The Death God couldn't help but toss his head back and laugh his melodic laugh at Ciel's eventual comment; not so red? What a cute little thing he was! A slim hand dressed in crimson lace reached up to pat him on the head, and as he straightened up properly he clasped his hands together at his breast. Oh yes, this was definitely going to be fun

The laugh wasn't appreciated, nor was the pat on the head, but the teeth glinting his way and his ever so lack of proper dress kept him silent from stating his displeasure. Grell was yacking away, spinning on his heels for good measure, his long red hair fanning out as he did so. Yes. Flamboyant was the right word indeed.
Before Ciel could agree, Grell had started off down the street, his heels clicking loudly on the paved sidewalk. With a few clicks from his own shoes Ciel was at Grell's side, an arm up to his side, fingers holding out a slip of paper. In writing, as Grell had wished for - signed with his very own name. Sebastian would most likely not be pleased with what he'd be ordered to do whenever he showed up, but he deserved it.
"Here. What you asked for."
Tardiness and absolute absence would not be tolerated. If anything, Ciel considered it a justified punishment.
