Wednesday around nine am I received a text from one of my classmates letting me know we were TAing 110 (it's art appreciation for non-majors, again, but we make them do art) and that the lecture was at ten thirty and we were meeting at ten.

I'm happy to be teaching again, and 110 should be an interesting change from 101. I just wish wish wish

That polka dot piece looks really interesting, although -- as you said -- it's a bit difficult to get details from the photograph.

And, aww, kitties! They are at peace with the universe. Although I love in particular how Shakti completely dwarfs Pell.

Hooray for teaching! You show those art appreciate kids what art appreciate really means. (I suggest a masterfully painted Louisville Slugger, especially when grades are going in.)

The polkadot piece looks interesting. Is the reason you call it "fuzzy" because it's flocked? Why the unusual borders? Why pink? I almost wish there were more figures there.
