Sorry about your arm :( Do try to give it some rest... I mean, your arm is to you what the vocal cords are to a voice performance major, and you can be damned sure they take care of those.

Yeesh, the arm situation sounds less than ideal. Have you looked into one of those heating pads people use for sprains and arthritis? I know you don't have arthritis, but it might make your muscles happier.

And shower cats! You really think they'd know better.

NSAIDs (like Aleve), warmth on the muscles, and REST!!! Grad school really is not worth nerve damage or tendinitis.
