Today, I made my WJHS 3rd graders (my little geniuses) write letters to their mothers for Mother's Day. They are seriously brilliant, and the stuff they came up with was just... guh... My favorites: "I hope that you will always be happy." "You are always gentle and kind. Please teach me to be like you." So cute I could've puked kittens

Mother's Day letters-- so precious! I think you really do have the most awesome group of kiddos ever. And I don't even like that age group =)

no better place to hide than in the wide open!
i mean, seriously, who besides your adorable school kids are possibly gonna see through your cleverly-crafted, mild-mannered school teacher alter ego!??
see?? see? i tell people a truth they'll never, ever, in their wildest imagination believe, right? so your secret identity is totally secure!
Ha! not so dingy as i might first appear now, huh?

Wow. And here I was thinking the whole Cobweb thing was just your disguise, heh.
Man, that got me thinking... how long has it been since the accident? If I remember correctly I think we'd just met either over on Otherkin or on here. Or I think it was right around that time, no?

I so didn't realize we've known each other for seven years!

I met one of my best friends on a pagan community over at MSN back in high school. What amazes me is that we're just shy of ten years since we met. Because honestly? Even though I know so much time has passed, it doesn't feel like it at all.
What gets me though is how I miss those earlier days sometimes. Even though I was completely naive and ignorant of the Real World, sometimes I wish I could go back just for a quick respite. Because while I have a lot more knowledge and understanding now... it was so much simpler back then, y'know?
Maybe that's the whole Growing Up part. If so, it kinda sucks sometimes :(
But yeah, 2002 sounds about right. I know I was deep into the Otherkin scene back then helping out with various projects and maintaining several of the communities and forums back then. And I'm fairly certain that it was around Junior Year we met.
Seven years, though? Kinda mind-boggling when you think of it in those terms, eh?
