You know what drives me absolutely insane?
My entire life both my mom and my grandma have never been able to believe that good child actors exist. Instead, they insist that all child actors are "little people" or "dwarfs."

My guess is they have never met or gotten to know any real "little people". If they did, they'd realize that Little People have the same "adult" maturity that regular sized people have. Thus Little People couldn't convincingly pretend to be children.

I actually went to school with one, and he was on the fencing team with me, so I find it pretty hard to believe. They just don't honestly think that children can be trained to do impressive things.
