I like it...it's nice to see a picture of japan that's not just wall to wall urban tokyo streetscape. Given that Japan only gets on the news here when something happens in tokyo, t's pretty easy to forget that there are parts that aren't so aggressively built up.

you should check out mesta park; there are usually some good garage apartments and stuff for rent there. Our new place is actually in that same general area, just south of NW 23rd street on drexel in the Linwood neighborhood.

ah yes, i have checked out the mesta park area once upon a time. the biggest problem i have finding places in that area is finding ones with washer/dryer hook-ups and decent sized kitchens. :|

yeah, that's the problem with houses built at the dawn of time...our place has those exact two problems, but I think it'll be worth it.
