Magical Thinking was good... but I love all of Augusten Burroughts stuff. We just bought his latest book, You Better Not Cry, which neither one of us has started reading yet... can't wait to, though!

I saw that, but haven't read it, or bought it.

I'm really behind in reading this year.

I read Under the Banner a few years ago and LOVED it..i bought all of Krakauers books but to date have only read that one and Into the Wild....i started Eiger Dreams but have yet to finish. BUt love Krakauers work.

Anything Sherman Alexie..count me in. If you EVER EVER EVER get a chance to hear him live (if you haven't already) DO IT...YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT (hence the intense and annoying caps locking!) He's is an immaculate story teller and to hear him do his poems live is magic..I seriously cannot stress that enough.

Someone else referred me to read Escape but haven't gottn my hands on a copy and I'm off to google On the REz right now as I've never heard of it but sounds like something I'd be interested in.

I would LOVE to see Sherman Alexie in person. He's my favorite writer. As far as I know, the closest he's been in awhile has been UNC Pembroke- a university here in North Carolina that has a large Native American student population, but that's still a few hours away. Have you read Absolutely True Diary? It's good, and it's a really quick read because it's actually Young Adult lit.

On the Rez is good...a little dry in parts, but overall interesting. If you want, you could PM me your mailing address and I could send it to you. In fact, that's how I got the book- it was passed along by someone who had read it, so it would be cool to continue the circle!

I read Absolutely True Diary this past January.

I've also read Tonto and Lone Ranger Fistfight in Heaven, Reservation Blues and Flight (Flight I loved cuz it was very reminiscent of Kurt Vonnegut, of whom I'm a big fan)

I have Indian Killer and Ten Little Indian's on my bookshelf but haven't gotten to them yet...but I will.

I will PM you! THank you I'm a member of paperbackswap.com...if you haven't seen that site it's worth it....i trade books online with people all the time. Love it.

I'm kind of a bookaholic!
