Have you ever made coconut ice? That's a wonderful chocolate-free yummy thing! My Nana makes it often to give away, and you can make it pink-and-white if you're feeling traditional or romantic or go nuts with the food colouring if you're feeling creative!!
I gotta admit, I'm not really a coconut person. Mom likes it, but I never really learned to care for it. I do, however, love to make my own ice creams. I make a kick ass lavender ice cream, with the lavender I grow myself, and a Butter Nipple ice cream that'll blow yer socks off (Butter Nipples are a type of cocktail, a shot, really). However, I'm curently prevented from makeing any colsolitory ice creams right now as A) Joan has my Ice Cream Maker, because she wanted to try makeing her own bananna ice cream, and B) our freezer is packed full of so much shit right now, we even have stuff stored in the ice bin because we ran outta room on the shelves and in the door. ::rubs templs:: Drives me nuts that we never have room in either our fridge or freezer for anything.
