actually I saw several flaws with the CGI. Not enough that someone that isn't anal about graphics *cough* would notice, but at least a handful of problems. Lighting, for one. some of the Daemons (DAemons, not dEmons damnit!)had "light issues" on their fur, when the shadows/light on the Daemon and the scene just didn't match up. The fur itself looked too "fluid", to shiney and too perfect. You could really tell in the first few scenes when they're at the university and Lyra and the other brats are all playing in the dirt and such. The kids were all dirty (artfully dirty, but dirty nonetheless) but their daemons showed no such wear and tear
