Oh, the asparagus came from here? :D Sadly, I've no idea what you could do with that and anise roots. There're recipes here, but I doubt they help. ^^;

Good luck with gaming and NY's good side: free food!

Bandit scares me, you know? His cuteness cannot outweigh the mortal wounds.

As for the Asparagus, you could just boil them, wait for them to cool down and eat them with olive oil, lemon and salt. At least, that's how I like them. ^^U

Bravo for Bandit, I'm liking your cat more by the day. I might even go as far so as to forgive him his being a siamese. Siamese look-alike DumbAss is actually improving a lot, so my opinion of white-furred, grey-footed&tailed, blue-eyed cats is getting better by the day.

Sims I never understood or liked. Seems inmensely boring to peer over others' lives, and PC someones don't qualify as exceptions. So burn all the Big Brothers, Sims and such and I'll dance around the fire, and maybe roast a potato or two.

About the cooking thinguie, a couple of good-for-all recipes come to mind. Sandiwched omelette works amazingly well with asparragus (especially if you throw in mushrooms and cheese) I'm assuming you can add the ginger root? Or maybe do a ginger-root based white sauce?
Second, meat! Nice red meat with stir-fry of said thinguies as a side dish. (I know that's cheating, so! kick me)

allrecipes.com wasn't of any help with this one, but cooks.com has a red chinese chicken that might work with some adaptations. See here
