"No dignified honorable nation would accept an ultimatum from armed gangs,"

Now I tend to agree with the man, I think we should take a look at our own armed gangs in society, those who are allowed to unmask others whilst being masked themselves! Time for a change maybe?

Somehow this reminds me of Libya...
Well, those guys out there were called "rats", but still.

Hmmmm, Our own police force unfortunately, masked and no numbers/ identification marks these days even for simple crowd control, oh, and did I mention, they can kill with impunity too.... (or might that have been cos the perp could not be identified in a line up?)

Here they're called "Pigs" "Rozzers" or whatever, they tend to take offence to anything these days, one has to wonder if thats the paranoia of being outnumberred by the good guys mind!

Anti Gaddafi forces make not less crimes against the person, than their opponents. How they can be called as the new power of Libya?

I'd suggest there's probably a lot of dirty western money out there paying for it all, hell wouldn't be the first time western business, (especially bankers) have financed both sides of a conflict hu?

I'm not sure that Kaddafi are in need of sponsors, but his opponents obviously haven't disdained a lot of dirty western money. This conflict is advantageous to someone in the west.

I'm pretty sure you're right, (It's an unfortunate state of affairs when someones accumulation of cash makes many others lose their lives, not too much different to the armed post office robbers hu? Different only on scale and avg prison sentences I'd suggest!) Didn't Kaddafi get various items and eyes looking the other way for earlier "incidents"? I may well be wrong, I'll try to do a bit more research before I get back!
