Why would I wear a snake?
Saint Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland. The snakes are apparently a metaphor for Pagan.
Being an Irish lass, I want to celebrate the day without celebrating the act.
So... I will be wearing a snake on St. Patty's day from now on.=)

There is a particularly catchy jingle locally. It goes " Sleep Country USA, why buy a mattress anywhere else?"
My 6 year old son Bo-bo sings it all the time. Right now he is singing it as "Space kitty USA, why buy a kitty anywhere else?" This was inspired by our art lesson today where he chose to draw a space kitty.
Kids are so imaginative.
