General update:

Am enjoying the new series of Doctor Who but I think Ten will probably always be my Doctor. In other words, not my "first" Doctor, as I distinctly remember watching the Movie when it was on and being intrigued, and I loved Nine, but I think I fell in love with Ten and as wonderful and bonkers and Doctorish as Eleven is, he's not

Neil Gaiman has the best quote on this subject - "He may not be 'your' doctor, but he is 'the' Doctor". Mine is either Five or Nine depending on how you reckon it. So - know how you feel;)

You may be interested to know that the Proms tickets turned up this week. two months and counting!.

That is a very pretty netbook, have fun playing with it. And the words will come back soon enough. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Yay for Proms tickets! Am on the netbook. It is fast. And the wireless connection actually works, which is nice and different from the flakiness of the laptop (bloody Vista). Small though.
