I hate 95% percent of comic to movie adaptations. See, I just feel that the characters just look off. Like the new Scott Pilgrim movie( which I think will bomb) I'm sorry but but the skinny dude from SuperBad looks nothing like Scott Pilgrim, and when he does Scott Pilgrim stuff it jsut looks awkward and weird. Yep. I think you've nailed it on why those movies fall short.

I'm glad that someone gets it, I always feel that comic fans are more into the stupid comic movies than the actual comics. I bet maybe 35% of the people that saw that Hellboy movie never even read the comics.
