I am amazed that sites like craiglist are still up and running after so many felony crimes related to it. There have been a few high profile murder cases involving transactions advertised on this creepy site and yet people don't get it! stop shopping on craiglist (p0rn or otherwise

It's scary and really unfortunate, but I've decide I just can't let it keep me completely off craigslist (I need to get rid of some furniture). After all, if someone rang my door bell and said they were UPS, I'd let them in. It doesn't take a free bookcase listing to give a creep an opportunity to victimize me. But I definitely never go to pickups or have people come pick up without having someone with me.

true but still would be weary about craiglist. I tend to either donate stuff or advertise it amongst people I know or use ebay. I'm more of ebay buyer these days cuz it's so damn addictive lol

If it weren't for craigslist, it'd be some other site. I've never used it, but you know lots of places get abused. People were trying to sell kidneys and babies on ebay too.
