I was driving Mouse and myself home from looking at an apartment complex when I didn't see the guy in the van stopped at the light soon enough. I slam on the breaks, but to no avail. Kate, I even remembered the clutch, too. I end up stopping a lot faster than I should have and ruining the front of my car. No, I don't think it's very fixable. ( Read more... )

No one has ever been banned from QT. We welcome all comers. I think you might be mis-informed.

Sorry about your car. That's too bad. If the brakes failed, you could go back on the folks who sold you the car. An cause and effect investigator could tell if that's what happened.

Syr Mac told me that back when he was a squire you guys had an althing and banned him from the park. Perhaps I misundrstood him joking or something. I don't know.

The brakes didn't fail, I just didn't have enough room to stop properly.

bit of advice:
Never take anything mac tells you completely at face value. Especially when he's in public and/or storytelling. Mac's main thought when he's talking is "how can I make a good story out of this."

Nope, never banned anyone. I think he came up when Whispering Winds did their "invasion" thingy, but I don't remember him very well. He might be the guy who told Grace in Lincoln that she needed him to be her "amtgard husband," but I'm not sure if that's him.

Well, it's too bad about your car. I like having a cheap car, I don't have to feel too bad if I wreck it, and can replace it for 500 bucks! At least you had insurance!

I am not upset about the belting thing.
Mac is not one of my favorite people, and I'm always very suspicious of him, but that just means I'll be keeping a close eye on how he treats you.

But I am NOT upset by it.

sorry to hear about your bad luck. thats why i refuse to make payments on vehicles. i thought I'd had a crappy weekend. and a bit of advise, if your sewing machine and stuff are in the vehicle right now, go get them out! now now now cause those places are well known for stealing out of cars.
