I'm halfway through reading Sophie's World. It's been a really educational; I feel like I learned so much in the short amount of time I was reading it, just like Sophie does

OMG, I read that last year! It's cool, it's a great way to make something educational more interesting.

LMAO, that's really strange that no one knows about that book. It's actually quite frequently listed in those "books you must read before you die" lists.

I tried getting through it once, but my short attention span got in the way. I do remember Mrs. Knopfelmacher (?) photocopying pages and pages of it for her Year 9 or 10 Philosophy class though. I can vaguely remember bits and pieces from those handouts, but not alot. Might try reading it again sometime.

I don't think I would have been able to get into it in highschool, but when I started reading it I was absorbed all night long. It maybe helps that I have more of an interest in the history of philosophy now, or something.
