Oh God, so heartbreaking. I'm very curious as to what exactly happened in the future. I love Dave and Future-Kurt's relationship, and how open f!Kurt was as a contrast to present-Kurt.

On another note: holy crap, Emily Browning can sing? I must listen to this soundtrack ASAP!

What happens in the future? Why does Kurt need to see his family again and why is he so sad? Why was he so sad when he saw Blaine at the mall? Would he fall in love with Dave? Can he come back and stay longer? Can he convince young-Kurt to give Dave a chance?

I'll probably be doing a follow-up piece that answers a majority of these questions, but for now, let's just say that the future is a VERY dark place where a lot of people have died, including most of Kurt's loved ones. Kurt's lucky in the fact that he's alive at all.

*wibbles* Poor Kurt... I can't imagine what happened in the future that made him so cold and sad. And poor Dave, being given this strange chance to have Kurt, only it's a completely broken Kurt, and it can't last :(

Such a friggin' sad ending, but I loved it all the same. I really wanted to know what was going on with future!Kurt, and of course I wanted Dave to resolve his issues with the Kurt of his present time. Still... I think the mystery and angst of this was what made it so extremely awesome.

Also: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OPENING MY EYES TO THE WONDER THAT IS EMILY BROWNING a) STARRING IN SUCKER PUNCH (Seriously, I didn't even know she was in that movie--failsauce for me) AND b) SINGING--SINGING "SWEET DREAMS". ♥

Exactly. Its depressing that present!Kurt and Dave has almost no chance to be together, but when Future!Kurt comes back and bumps into Dave, will there be a chance then?
