Guh little Choutarou makes me wanna do all sorts of silly lame things such as making high pitched noises and hair-ruffling. IT IS STRONGER THAN MYSELF

Well, I readily admit to being confused by this myself.

I am gathering it is the first day (of school or at least of tennis practice) as the senpai with the dark hair and megane is 'explaining' that the ichinen will only be picking up balls and not holding a racket for half a year.

And all ichinen are wearing the blue/white jerseys (can be seen as they all gather to bow). So this makes me wonder just what makes a jersey a regulars or pre-regulars jersey...

On the other hand, the hyotei tennis club is the one with the 100+ members and there definitely are not that many people on the court... though this may indicate special pre-regulars practice, I would rather hazard that the 100+ members happen after Atobe has declared himself Almighty and Fancy-Smanchy Bouchou TM (that's when I'd join XD)

As a conclusion I do not think the wearing of a blue/white shirt may be taken for a status of a pre-regular or regular in the anime... simply because Shishido is wearing blue/white when he falls to his knees and cuts his hair (again, the ( ... )
