This is it, the final challenge of Round 1.
Since it's the final challenge we're going to icon goodbyes. Sorry, I know it's depressing but it seemed appropriate.
I've loved this round, everyone has submitted fantastic icons and you've all been great! At this point I still can't tell who will win, it's far too close on points. Trust me, the points you can earn for entering and voting really count now!

The Special Category this challenge is 'Best Use of Negative Space'. You might want to think about this when making your icon however it is not compulsory.
The Theme
Your icon must feature goodbyes. These don't have to be the kind of goodbye that we see when a character dies (although most of the caps I've chosen are exactly that). However Jack saying goodbye to Gwen as she gets in the helicopter in Day Five of COE would count, or the very end of Day Five. Or the gang saying goodbye to Owen when they think he's about to die.

- You must be signed up, make sure you are on the list here. Sign ups for Round One are CLOSED.
- Enter 1 icon only
- You may use the caps provided or find your own
- Icons must fit the theme
- Icon must meet LJ Standards (100x100, 40kb or less, .png, .gif, or .jpg).
- No animation. All resources (brushes, textures, text, etc.) are fine
- Your icon must be new for this challenge. Please do not use old icons.
- Do not display your entry anywhere until after the voting results are posted.
- Post your icon and its URL as a comment to this post. All comments for this post will be screened.
- Entries will be due Friday, 6th November, 2009 midnight GMT.
- If you are skipping this challenge, please leave a comment letting me know. You earn a point just for participating each week, but if you skip 3 challenges in a row, you will be disqualified.
