Why you should read it: Jack Harkness is a fun-loving, sensual, sexual man. He runs cons and has sex as he works his way across the universe. This time, he just happens to be on Earth with some time to kill when he runs into Sam Winchester. Sex ensues. Hot sex. Sam turns out to have just the qualities Jack was looking for in a lover at the moment - an alpha nature and a willingness to learn. The d/s in this fic is fairly light, which works perfectly for me.
There's little plot here, but what there is gives us insight into both characters. The author is great at building the sexual tension between the two - I'm particularly fond of the scene in the elevator - and delivering the goods when the tension is released. While there were quite a few quotes from Jack's POV that I enjoyed, I think this one best sums up the Jack in this fic:
"It was kind of his mission in life, beyond the regular boring junk that most people considered to be important life missions. Jack prided himself on expanding the sexual horizons of beings all around the universe and all throughout time. And he was damn good at his calling."
