I just spent hours reading this one and it was awesome. I've commented extensively and effusively to the author, but I just wanted to let you know that your recs are appreciated. That one was a spectacular find.

Thank you for recommending a long fic! I don't find long, plotty, awesome fics like this one often enough. :)

There's a few in the archives here -- I think the poor BigBang was released at a bad time for TW fans (and not that there was anything that the authors or organisers could have done about this -- they didn't know that Death Week was about to happen!). I'm slowly making my way though the stories there, now that the initial shock of CoE has worn off. Thanks for letting me know you liked the rec.

Oh, wow.

First, thank you so, so very much for your amazing and beautiful write-up. I encountered so many blocks while writing this story that by the end I had more of a love/hate relationship with the piece, and I was concerned that readers would have a hard time following it. Your kind words mean a great deal to me, especially now when I don't have the time to write as frequently as I used to and I keep doubting the quality of my writing.

I'm trying to write another TW fic right now, and despair of ever getting to the middle of it, much less the end, but seeing my fic rec'd in this comm(where so many of my favorite writers are featured) and reading the comments left by those who found it through the rec has motivated me to sink my teeth back into the fic again. So, again, THANK YOU. This has seriously made my YEAR.

Please keep working. *grovels

Seriously, if I wasn't so selfish, I would be telling you not to waste your amazing talent writing fan fics, but I am selfish and I love your work so....

Get back to it. Please. *More groveling.

I read this one the other day and found it to be that rare thing - a long fic which doesn't get boring in the middle! It kept me engaged all the way through; characters were believable and interesting, I liked Jack (which doesn't always happen...), and Ianto was brilliant. One to keep and read again.
