Yeah, I kind of associate slash with non-canon things. Mostly, I think, because that's all there really was for a long time whereas now there are quite a few slash canon ships (wow, three fan-terms in a row!)...

I dunno how intuitive your sister is, but in my experience... people rarely draw those kind of conclusions. XD If she found gay porn under your bed, that'd be completely different. But three comics which happen to have gay characters.. not so much. I totally understand how you feel about wanting her to work it out, though. Non-confrontationalism FTW!

I'd imagine it would still be slash? I dunno. I always thought slash=gayness. Canon or not, there's still gayness, so it's still slash? I dunno, though. I don't look too much into these things.
