BBC News writes about the virtual lives many South Koreans are living via the net.

I must admit I find the extent of this a bit disturbing, esp as we are heading in that direction also.

While I love my online life, does it already take up far too much of my time?

It was alarming enough when I found I couldn't get into LJ the other day.

Apparently these days people can actually lose all contact with some of their friends if they lose their cellphone. Cos they may have no other record of some contact details than the numbers stored in the phone.

Similar things could happen online I suppose.
