Can anyone remember a young adult book wherein the boy meets the girl because he keeps going to the library to check out books and her name keeps showing up as a previous checker-outer of all the books he wants (in fact, in at least one case, she has a book he wants that he's been waiting for), so he asks the librarian about her and the librarian

I know, doesn't it? And I'm sure I have it at home (as I never get rid of books. Ever.), so if I can only remember which book it was....
