kookamess has been inspiring me with her commitments to fitness and exercise (not to mention outdoor activities). I thought I'd post about biking, because Mr. P and I have been riding our tandem more and more and it just keeps getting more fun, and maybe that would inspire someone else and the positive trend would continue

The one time Blake and I tried a tandem, on our honeymoon, I put my feet down and fell off the back of it. He likes to go fast and I get scared easily so I don't think we're meant to be on the same bike at the same time.
The ATT is rails to trails but it's missing a crucial bridge so 12 miles is about all we can do right now. Once they make the bridge we'll be all set!

That being said, if there is one thing I have learned since we started tandeming (and let's be honest, there are HUNDREDS of things I've learned), it is Tandem Biking Is Not For Everyone. I have found it to be a very good initial (by no means comprehensive) test for seeing how couples/pairs operate ( ... )
