I smiled when I read your first thought because I feel the same way about the Reeses's cup thing. Now the funny thing is that I never knew my hubby felt the same way until I read his comment. I must not have shared that feeling with him but just my co-workers...
My hubby-to-be and I are in AGREEMENT about Reeses and that is the ones with a lot of peanut butter are the way to go! We like the special ones they come out with at the holidays, trees for Xmas, eggs for Easter and hearts for V-day.
I suppose compatibility can be measured by one's opinion on Reeses!
Interesting! Mr. P prefers the larger ones, but will never turn down the smaller ones. I think it's quite reflective our personalities, as I like to savor small things and he likes to take big bites!
The Reese's Christmas trees, in particular, are too much peanut butter, not enough chocolate!!!
But I'm glad this post is helping people to explore the strengths of their relationships :-)
I am with you, disenchant, on the Reeses thing. MORE PEANUT BUTTER = more delicious. The Easter eggs are the best. It's like, it's like just a giant WAD of peanut butter, with the barest hint of chocolate holding it together. NOM NOM NOM.
My husband, by the way, is in as complete disagreement with me over this issue as it is possible to be. He hates all Reeses. IN fact, he hates all candy involving sweet peanut butter. Freak.
