Well, there are definitely good reasons on both sides of the argument. I know you're worried about getting comfortable and doing the same job type thing forever, but seeing as how you're evaluating your life now I don't see why you wouldn't do the same later when you start feeling antsy again. It's good to help out parents, definitely. But sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. You need to live. If you stay at home, which already seems to frustrate you, you'll just get more frustrated and that won't change.
And if in the future you do want to change to a new job, or get that apprenticeship, then you can always move back home. :} Or figure out something! But sitting around waiting for something that might not come would suck. ;\ if/when you do get it you can always make another change. :}
