When Hollywood comes to you?

So, Michigan passed some tax incentives to encourage movies to be made in this state.
Over here on the West side of the state, we're not used to having Hollywood (or, well, film makers in general) doing location shooting.  "Road to Perdition" was shot just South of us in Holland, and scenes from "American Pie 2" were supposed to be shot here, but ( Read more... )

Cool stuff! I remember when the USC football stadium here in Columbia was used to as the setting for the movie The Program in the early 90's and us natives got free KFC for being extras.
