on Thursday I was planning on bailing from work at Noon and being on the road by 12:30, but I was so overwhelmed at work that I couldn't get to the Winter Haven printing until after my shift ended, and so I was working on printing and cutting stuff until 1:30. I got home and threw my stuff into the car and was on the road by 2pm.

Taking a break is always good. You may find some better reason to go in the future. Especially with money like it is now, no reason to go if you aren't having fun and you can't afford it.

It's not like you don't get your Con-On at Gencon anyway. :)

Heh. Well, I work 40 hours over 6 days at Gen Con, so it's more like going from the frying pan and into a geeky fire. ;)

The funny part is that "vacation conventions" only seem to be doing better. Gen Con last year had its highest numbers ever and MFF was bigger than ever too with great sales in the Dealer's Den. FCN was over 720 people this year (up from arund 325 its first year) with, like, 150 fursuits in the parade.

I've been instructed by the-hair-should-be-a-warning-TCR to cuss you out for not visiting. She mentioned something about a whip and trying it out on you, so I'd recommend laying low or appeasing The Wrath Of The Redhead. (TCR: Ha ha I wouldn't hurt him hurt him...)

Heh. Likewise, there was a furry convention nearby and neither of you suggested I meet up with you for dinner or something either. ;)

Besides, 4 days with Furries on leashes and every alternative lifestyle under the sun make such threats sound fairly mundane. ;) (I was instructed [verbally] on the finer points of "punching" and "breath play" by a fello named Magenta.)

Hrmm... could have swore... ah, I back here... I would have thought, "Just make sure you visit TCR or she will hunt you down and do not so pretty things," was an invite. ;P

Hmmm.. perhaps it was. ^.^ Or maybe it was an invite for her to hunt me down through inaction of my own? *chuckles* Ah, well.
