Summary: Kaoru thinks he's the straightest person on earth, until an exchange student in form of Toshiya came. Will the extra sweet Die manage to get the new boy's heart?..or will they remain as friends?

cristal for the beta^_^!! I'd be having a survey in each chapter for the main pairing. In the last chapter, the score was Kaoru-7 Die-5.
“There’s a vacant seat there,” the teacher said, pointing at the seat beside the window in the last row while looking at Toshiya. “Is that fine with you? Or would you prefer to seat somewhere else? I can rearrange the seats if you want me to.”
Toshiya looked back at the teacher, his facial expression turning into a sad one before he began to speak. “Please,” he paused for a while “Please don’t give me special treatment because I’m the director’s son. I’m...”
“What?!” Kaoru cut Toshiya, not realizing he had said it loud enough for everyone in the room to hear until all eyes were on him. He earned another glare, not only from Toshiya, but also from the teacher.
“Ehem” the teacher cleared his throat. “I assume he’s talking to me, right Mr. Niikura?” he said, arching an eyebrow.
“Uhm... Yes?” Kaoru replied before bowing his head to cover his blushing cheeks. He clenched his fists on his lap, cursing under his breath. Darn! You’re gonna pay for that, you bitch. With that in mind, he looked up again and attempted to glare at Toshiya. He failed.
His supposed to be glare softened at what he saw.
Toshiya was giggling. “Ohw, I’m sorry.” He said as he noticed he was the only one who found Kaoru’s embarrassment funny. He then looked back at the teacher, who was smiling at back at him. “As I was saying, I’m willing to sit anywhere you want me to.”
“Okay then, take that seat.” The teacher ordered still with a smile on his face.
Toshiya made his way to his seat, smiling at every person he passed. He stopped as he saw a red head beside his seat. He tilted his head unconsciously as he kept his eyes on the red fluffy hair. He blinked his eyes as he realized what he was doing and bowed slightly while blushing as a sign of apology. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude.”
Die didn’t reply for he was still taken aback by the other’s action.
“Ehem” the teacher cleared his throat for the second time, making Toshiya turn and face him. “Please take your seat now.” He said and gave Toshiya a smile indicating that he was not intending to humiliate the new boy.
“I’m sorry.” He bowed again and his face turned much redder as he settled himself on his seat.
“Okay,” the teacher started as he fixed the papers on the table. “I’m Gackt-sensei and I’ll be your Math and Homeroom teacher this year.”
While the teacher was talking in front of the class, Toshiya turned to his right and offered Die his right hand. “I’m Toshiya. I hope we can be friends” he smiled.
The red head shook his hand as he stared at the other’s smiling face, realizing that Toshiya had crooked teeth. “Die.” he replied and cast Toshiya a smile.
Toshiya stiffened.
As he was talking, Gackt-sensei could hear Toshiya’s voice. He was about to call his student’s attention but Toshiya seemed to settle down so he let it pass and continued on talking.
Die was shocked when Toshiya pulled his hand away all of a sudden. He stayed silent for a moment thinking, Trying to figure out what the hell he had done. “Oh!” he exclaimed as he realized what was wrong. “People call me Die, short for Daisuke.” He chuckled.
Toshiya snapped back to reality as Die cleared things up. “Ooh...” he said while nodding his head slowly. “You scared me ya’ know!” he continued with a pout on his lips as he hit Die’s left arm.
Gackt-sensei was once again interrupted as he heard Toshiya’s voice. Special treatment huh? Okay then. “Toshiya.” He called his student’s attention in a louder voice than before.
Toshiya stood up quickly as if he was hit by lightning. “Y...Yes?” his voice was shaking with fear.
Gackt-sensei chuckled at the boy’s reaction. “Please lower your voice while you talk.” he smiled before continuing “but, it would be better if you listen and I talk. Okay?”
Toshiya nodded very quickly and sat back on his chair. He bit his lip as he looked at Die, still with fear in his eyes. As he looked in Die’s direction, he noticed a glare directed to him over the red head’s shoulder. He looked over Die’s shoulder and found Kaoru at the other corner of the room. He glared back, as if challenging the other.
Oh, so that’s what you want then! Kaoru glared even harder, accepting the challenge. Toshiya was so into the ‘glaring contest’ that he didn’t even notice Die was tapping his hand.
After some time, Toshiya decided it was getting them nowhere. He stuck his tongue out at Kaoru and faced the teacher again. And Kaoru was left with a “what-the-fuck-was-that-for” expression written all over his face.
“Toshiya, don’t do that again.” Die whispered as Toshiya turned his head towards him.
“Do what?”
“Don’t ever mess with THAT guy.” Die’s voice still a whisper.
“Who the hell is ‘THAT’ guy?”
Die hesitated. But he decided to tell Toshiya before the new student did something like it again. “Ka...”
“Toshiya” Gackt-sensei called with a smile on his face, a smile that meant something else. Toshiya was starting to get on his nerves in a funny way. Toshiya stood up, but slowly this time, while chewing his bottom lip. He looked at his teacher, not noticing his blushing cheeks, without saying a single word and continued torturing his lips. Gackt-sensei couldn’t help but sigh and admit defeat. He just couldn’t scold such cute creature in front of the class. If I could see that face whenever I call your name, I won’t mind calling you from time to time. The smile on his face changed into an almost laughing one. “Let me do all the talking from here on, is that understood?” he said, raising an eyebrow.
Oh God. Here it is. Here it is. Lalala~ I don’t wanna hear it. Lalalala~ Toshiya talked in his mind in order to block whatever harsh words his teacher was about to speak. He was about to close his eyes as he felt it coming. What th..? his thoughts were cut as the teacher smiled and spoke. “Hai sensei.” He replied then bowed slightly and settled on his seat again.
“Let’s talk later.” Die whispered. Toshiya turned his head in Die’s direction and nodded as a response. As he turned his head, he caught the purple head giggling. He pouted, but not for long.
“Kaoru, is there something funny?” Gackt-sensei said, almost getting annoyed by the endless interruptions. Kaoru shook his head very quickly as he straightened up in his chair. “I think there’s something, would you mind sharing with the whole class?” Kaoru shook his head again. “Better stay unmoved while I talk then, got it?” the purple head nodded, then glanced at Toshiya, who was smirking. He sulked.
“You’re gonna pay for that, you bitch.” He muttered, repeating his earlier thought. I’ll make you regret you had a pretty face. He thought, not really understanding what it meant.

The bell rang after a few more minutes; surprisingly, almost everyone was paying attention because their teacher was very good looking. “Last reminder: you’ll be having History and Science this afternoon. You may have your lunch break now.” With that, he dismissed his class and walked out of the door with his papers in his right hand.
“Toshiya, wait for me at the roof top, I’ll just drop by the varsity’s locker room for some announcements.” Die said while preparing to leave.
“Huh? Can’t I come with you?” The blue head replied with pleading eyes.
Die sighed. Who could say no to this guy? “Only the players are allowed to go there. But, you could wait for me outside the door if you want to.”
“Players?”
“Yeah, I play basketball. So, are you comin’ with me?”
“Hai!” Toshiya exclaimed happily, unaware of glares being shot at him.
“Hey, aren’t you going to have your lunch? Everyone left already.” A tall black haired approached him. Kaoru blinked and looked up to the tall man; he had been too busy cursing to notice that they were the only ones left. “Kyo said he’s going to the restroom. Let’s meet up with him there.” And the brunette turned, heading towards the door.
“Tora” Kaoru called, making the other man stop in his track and turn his head. “You guys go ahead; I’m taking care of some business.” He stood up without waiting for a reply. The confused tall man could only mutter an almost inaudible okay.
