Summary: Kaoru thinks he's the straightest person on earth, until an exchange student in form of Toshiya came. Will the extra sweet Die manage to get the new boy's heart?..or will they remain as friends?

Chapter 4
“Darn it!” Toshiya murmured as he pulled his car into a stop under a sakura tree at the school’s parking lot. There was no other car than his and another black one parked near the school building during the time. “I’m too early.” But that’s okay, I know how to kill time. He smiled at his reflection on the mirror then went out of the car with his backpack hanging loosely on his right shoulder. The wind blew Toshiya a sweet kiss and the sakura tree showered him with beautiful flowers. He inhaled deeply enjoying the sweet and beautiful moment. “Ohayou, sakura-chan!” He patted the tree, still with a sweet childish smile plastered all over his face then started walking his way to his classroom.
The heels of his leather black boots made a sound every time they collided with the floor but he was completely oblivious to it as he hummed his own tune while swaying his head gracefully. He was passing by the faculty room on the first floor of the building when he heard a voice.
“I thought I heard an angel singing.”
Toshiya tilted his head back and saw Gackt-sensei’s head poking out of the door of the faculty room few meters away from where he was standing. “Ohayou sensei!” Toshiya greeted when he finally turned around to face his teacher.
“Ohayou!” Gackt greeted back, his eyes not leaving Toshiya who was wearing a black shirt, which seemed to be two sizes smaller for him since it only cover his upper body from the shoulder down to the belly button, and a super low-waist tight denim pants tucked inside his expensive-looking high heeled boots. Gackt-sensei was definitely enjoying the scene, his eyes were not even blinking.
Toshiya noticed his teacher’s intent glare not only on his face but on his body as well. He felt uneasy so he took his back pack off of his shoulder and hugged it in front of his chest. “Is there someth..” He was about to ask Gackt-sensei but the teacher spoke.
“Did the sakura tree greet you back?” Gackt-sensei asked jokingly with a smile, which is becoming more and more like a grin.
“Uhm..yes.” Toshiya replied shyly, biting his bottom lip. Gackt-sensei stepped closer and closer and the next thing Toshiya realized, Gackt-sensei was face to face with him. He gulped.
“What did it say?”
“Ittoldmethatmyhairisamessandihavetodosomethingaboutitassoonaspossible.” He lied in a quick manner then took a step back and bowed. He walked in a high speed, wishing he would disappear from the other’s sight like a bubble. He went to the restroom on the second floor and applied a light make-up. This is what I call killing time. When he was satisfied with his look, he smiled towards the mirror before making his way out.

“Ohayou!” Toshiya greeted his classmate sitting on the second row.
“Ohayou.” The other man replied shyly, quiet intimidated by Toshiya’s beauty.
Toshiya walked past the other and went to his chair and dropped his bag then walked back to where the other guy was sitting with his head bowed down. He took a chair beside him and to face the other’s direction. “Hello! I’m Toshiya.” He smiled widely.
The other looked up at Toshiya as he blushed. “I’m Saga.”
“Woah! You’re so pretty! And that lip piercing is hot!” Toshiya exclaimed as he saw Saga’s face, and the other blushed even more. “I never thought someone would be here before me, I’m not used to travel around here anymore. I thought I would be caught in a traffic jam so I left my house early.”
Saga just sat there listening to everything Toshiya was saying, never saying a single word.
“Oops, sorry. Just tell me if you want me out of your sight. I didn’t mean to disturb you.” Toshiya was about to stand up but Saga stopped him by grabbing his hand.
“No don’t!” Saga said in panic, he was scared that he might offend Toshiya. “I’m sorry.”
“I should be the one apologizing. I was the one who came bothering you early in the morning.” He said as he sat back on the chair as Saga let go of his hand.
“No, you’re not a bother at all.” Saga shook his head quickly, “It’s just,” he paused “I didn’t think you would talk to someone like me.” His head once again bowed down.
“You know,” Toshiya said looking at the door’s direction, “sometimes it’s just hard to be me. It’s hard to find true friends. Some people would pop out of nowhere and befriend me because of who I am. They want Toshiya, not me. I’m only a human; don’t treat me as someone superior to you.” Toshiya silenced after his last words.
“Sorry.” Saga whispered and touched Toshiya’s hand. The blue head nodded accepting the apology. The two of them talked and talked and Saga was forgetting about his shyness every minute he spent with Toshiya.
“Ohayou!” Toshiya smiled to the tall black haired man. Saga turned his head to the door’s direction, his eyes widen, but Toshiya didn’t notice.
He stopped walking as he saw Toshiya and Saga together. He eyed Saga then Toshiya, coldly. He bowed his head slightly as a reply to Toshiya’s greeting and continued walking towards his seat.
“Who is he?” Toshiya whispered.
“His name is Tora.”
“He’s scary. I swear his eyes almost stopped my heart from beating.” Toshiya whispered in a lower voice biting his thumbnail.
“No no no! He’s not scary at all! He’s actually very kind and gentle!”

“Kyo,” Gackt-sensei called a short blonde sitting on the second to the last row, “please solve problem number four on the left side of the board using the method I taught you last year. And Toshiya,” he paused and smiled at the blue head, “solve the same problem beside him with the method your teacher in Paris taught you. Let’s see the difference. We will use whichever is easier in our future lessons.”
Kyo and Toshiya were standing in front, their height difference was very noticeable. Kyo answered the problem as fast as he could for he was feeling intimidate by the other’s height. On the other hand, Toshiya was pulling the hem of his shirt from time to time not to expose his back more than it already does. The taller one once again pulled his shirt and accidentally elbowed the blonde’s right cheek.
“Ohh I’m so sorry!” Toshiya was more shocked than Kyo who didn’t even react. Toshiya brought his chalk-free hand on the other’s cheek to give it a little massage.
Kyo was now too petrified to react but he managed to take Toshiya’s hand off his face. “I’m fine.” He said coldly not looking at the tall guy who was looking at him worriedly. He continued answering the problem and he went back to his seat in less than a minute.
Gackt came closer to Toshiya when the blue head had been left alone in front. The small distance between them made the blue head nervous and conscious. Toshiya took a step to the right as he was writing a very long equation but he stopped as he felt Gackt-sensei’s soft hand pressed on the uncovered part of his waist. He became more nervous that he didn’t even notice the sounds of gasping behind his back.
“Oops.” Gackt-sensei whispered and pulled Toshiya to where he had been before he made a step. “Look.” He grinned pointing to the negative sign which was supposed to be a positive.
“Oh.” Toshiya nodded his nervousness almost gone. A minute later, he arrived at the same answer but his process of solving was longer.
Moments later, the bell rang signaling the end of the class.
“That’s all for the review of last year’s lessons. Tomorrow we’ll be having a new one and Toshiya, stay after your class. You’ll be having a remedial,” he grinned, “with me.”

“This is mine!”
“No, it’s mine! I grabbed it first!”
Kaoru and Toshiya were fighting at the school cafeteria over the last carton of the kiddie juice that Toshiya bought last time.
“Let go of it!” Toshiya ordered, holding the juice tighter.
“I won’t!” Kaoru answered as his grip tightened as well.
None of them let go and their grip tightened every second until the juice was spilled. And there they were, holding hands with the juice carton in between.
“Look at what you’ve done!” Toshiya pouted and took out his wallet. “I’ll pay for it.” He told girl on the counter.
“No! I’ll pay for it.” Kaoru insisted.
“I said I will pay for it!”
Kaoru was handing his money ignoring Toshiya’s protest. Toshiya then turned to the girl.
“Don’t accept that! I said it first.” He handed his money as well but the waitress didn’t know which one to accept.
“But I handed first.”
“I don’t ca…” Die covered Toshiya’s mouth with his hand.
Toshiya turned around to face Die. “But I…” Toshiya said as soon as Die uncovered his mouth but Die covered it again with his thumb, his palm on Toshiya’s cheek.
“Here.” Die raised a carton of juice he was holding in front of Toshiya’s face.
Toshiya’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the juice. He took it from Die with both of his hands. He faced Kaoru and stuck his tongue out.

“Is it just me or did I saw your cheeks blushing a while ago?” Reita teased as he walked with the short blonde.
“So the rumor was true, Harry Potter turned to a ninja who have been stealing his neighbors’ underwear at night instead of sleeping.” Kyo teased back. “You have to get some sleep.”
Reita chuckled finding it funny that the other guy was trying to deny what’s very obvious. “Why do you always have to go to the restroom before having lunch?” He changed the subject not wanting to argue with the smaller blonde.
“None of you’re business!” Kyo quickened his steps to hide his flushed face from the other.

“Good afternoon, I’m Hide-sensei. I believe this is our first meeting this year, correct me if I’m wrong.” Everyone nodded. “Okay, if you cooperate with me I could dismiss you early, understood?” The students nodded happily. “I’ll be your music teacher and I would like you to write three songs as your final project to be submitted by the end of the year. You have to apply everything that I’ll be teaching you and submit a progress report every week.” Hide-sensei received a sulk from his students. “I’m not done yet.” he stated and smiled, “You will be working with a pair to make it easier. I’d be choosing the pairs randomly and announce the pairings on Friday.”

“Die! What are you doing here?” Toshiya asked Die as he stepped out of the room and found the red head standing by the door.
“He said I can’t attend your remedial but he never said I can’t wait.” Die smiled stepping closer to the other and they walked together. He knew he was being over protective, but he can’t help it.
“But it’s pretty late. You should have gone home instead.”
“Nah, no way I’m leaving you alone with that guy. He’s a pervert, but most of them are so fond of him because of his looks.” He lied, that wasn’t the real reason. He was protecting Toshiya not from Gackt but from someone else.
“Oh god! I’d sell this boots for fifty yen, just spare me that remedial class.” He was talking more to himself than Die as he stood on his left foot and lifted his right leg for ward to show his boots then continued walking. “He looked at me like he was taking my clothes off!”
They were now outside the building. Toshiya looked up to the dark sky brightened by the moon and glittered with stars, loosing himself to the beautiful night sky. Die looked up as Toshiya did. The sky was indeed beautiful. The red head smiled still looking up. “Well, it’s pretty late. I should take you home.” Die offered tearing up his gaze from the beautiful sight to look at the more beautiful creature.
“Ahw, but I have my car with me.” Toshiya said to his dismay.
“Oh, I see. Be careful then.” Die waved then bowed slightly.
“Wait!” Toshiya called as Die started to walk away. “What about me taking you home?”
“You don’t have to. I’ll be fine, my place just takes fifteen minutes on a bus. It’s not that far.” Die turned back to face the blue head.
“I insist!”
Die sighed, admitting defeat but deep inside he was happy. “Seems like I’m left with no other option.” He walked back to where the other was standing.
