America, here we come!

Helga and I are thinking about buying a ranch in the US. We have been kinda thinking about it on and off for a while but it seems to have got much more serious now. One of my brothers lives in California but as much as I like California I wouldn't want to be based there at all. My non-negotiables are ( Read more... )

Oh that's cool. I really adored Utah (but that may be too hot for you) The (possibly irrational) fear I had about California property is that it always looked nice, but it also looked very combustible. In the sense it tended to be wood surrounded by forests in a very dry area. Seemed quite like a tinderbox.

Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming fit the bill for what you are looking for. If you want the wilderness but would still like to be relatively close to an urban environment, consider Washington state.

I think a lot hinges on how you define Wilderness and Ranch.
I live in Colorado which might have something that fits the bill.
It is possible to buy a place here that is just a few miles from the mountains but is not actually in the mountains.

People constantly refer to my property in Kansas as a ranch but that doesn't meet my definition of a ranch. I think of a ranch as having pasture or grazing land. My land is all tilled so I define it as a farm.

Are you looking for a place with an already established house and out buildings? Do you require "room for a pony"?

The Front Range of the Rocky Mountains offers good possibilities, four seasons, and an international airport. So . . . put Colorado on your list.

Everything posted was very reasonable. But, what about this?suppose you wrote a catchier title? I am not suggesting your content isn’t solid, however suppose you added a title that grabbed a person’s attention? I mean buy real weed online cheap - Buy wholesale weed Canada  . is a little plain. You might look at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create article titles to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people excited about what you’ve gotto say. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier. Also visit my blog post :  Buy Synthetic Weed in Bulk
