A couple of weeks ago many Turkish people took to the streets to protest the adoption of a Turkish child by a Dutch lesbian couple here in the Netherlands. The Dutch are absolutely furious that foreigners could have the audacity to protest about anything taking place in this wonderful swamp they call home. There have been petitions, news articles

I can't disagree with that.

Plus I am quite obviously all for standing up to homophobia in general.
