Heh. I cannot stress how much this post sounds like me yesterday- but with my venom directed at US healthcare.
I have been sick sick sick- but I do not have insurance (well, I do, but it is limited to 'almost dead' and a deductible of $1000 - and doesn't cover shit). I do not have a primary doctor. And I don't know where the hell I can go, aside from an urgent care center (which is ABSURD and guaranteed costly), to get basic antibiotics for what I already know I have.
Lame. :(
Not sure it makes me feel better to hear you're going through sort of similar frustrations- but it at least knocks my perspective back to realistic. And that's good.
It's all too easy to blame the country when things go wrong but I guess these are first world problems. Not having a healthcare would be much worse.
The system in America needs modernizing for sure, people deserve some sort of healthcare. However it would seem that having it doesn't guarantee you much there either.
I don't feel especially better, but I want you too.

They come to your house for tests and it's actually relatively cheap.
