When she puts it like that, I agree. While it's nice to have continued support, it's ridiculous to expect someone to completely do your career for you. It takes some work from you too.

I never got the impression from CariDee's comments that she was criticizing Tyra or the show. It just seemed like she was pointing out the truth that there is no support. I suspect she and the other winners thought they were going to get more help than they got, but they soon learned they had to make their own paths. I feel like it's a good thing for her to be blunt about the reality of the situation, given how many girls still go on that show and seem to believe they'll have huge modeling careers ahead of them because of it.
