According to the Angelea article:

"The current Cycle 18 seems to be suffering from low ratingsand speculation was that maybe it’s due to lingering bad karma from Tyra Banks and company not making it clear what happened to disqualify Angelea."

Suggesting that Angelea's disqualification has anything to do with ANTM's dwindling ratings is laughable. You know, let's ignore that it's in cycle 18, that fan-favorite Allison didn't win, and that in general, the quality of Top Model has dropped each subsequent cycle. :P
