I am so glad that you were on the same page about the fact that they're all white. Hell, they actually all look very much the same.

lol I love yours too. Sirius is my second or third favorite character. I think he slunk down to third after I found out he bullied poor Severus. I also have one more I made, which was my favorite scene ever, but my R.A.B one somehow turned out better.

Thanks for posting.

I haven't watched it but I did not know Australia was a diverse country.
I was under the impression it was mostly white decedents of the British colonists and a very small aboriginal population. I know they have very strict immigration laws.
Was there more immigration allowed before or am I wrong about it being very hard to immigrate to Australia?

After the 70s, Australian officials wanted to open immigration more and make it a more diverse country, so immigration is easier now than it was years ago. Australia is a diverse country, especially in cities such as Sydney and Melbourne. In most places in Australia, over 20 percent of the population is foreign-born. When I went to Melbourne, I saw more Middle Eastern people there than anywhere else I have been in the US. As a whole, I think Australia has a lot of ethnic diversity. I guess we can't expect Aus Top Model to represent this, but this is the most white-washed cycle they've ever had. I'd really have liked to see some Asians and Middle-Eastern girls especially, as they've become a big part of their population.

I did notice the lack of diversity. On one hand it is bothersome, but then on the other hand I wouldn't want tokenism or some "ethnic" girl who is undeserving to be thrown into the mix.

YES! I totally agree with your statement... this is unfortunately what Tyra does every cycle for ANTM and she always tries to get girls that have some sort of "story"... I just don't understand how Trya could not find better girls than the ones she's found for the last couple of cycles.

This is my first time watching something other than America's Next Top Model. And can I say... damn, the production quality is about a billion times better than ANTM. It looks like a Bravo documentary show instead of some cheap reality show, I really like it.

Also the prizes are far more luxurious.

You should start watching cycle 3. it got really good then. Aus Top Model is actually my favorite top model series. though I may change my mind with this cycle... I hope not.
