Watch members patrol in and around the village in pairs to look out for any fae or other dangerous activity. If such a thing comes up, we either ward it off with our iron or, if it comes to it, fight - because of this we prefer that watch members have some form of combat knowledge or experience.

There's also the possibility that a watch member would be called upon off-shift to help deal with bigger problems, and they're expected to give some form of report to Valeria or myself every so often in order for us to try and keep track of what's going on.
