Luke, Flora, are you both alright? I'm sorry, I should have done more when... well. If there's anything I can do for you now, please tell me.

[Pause.] The little drone girl is begging me to let her stay up until midnight... it must be New Year's Eve. I'm afraid I've lost track of time.

Happy New Year, then. May it be better than the last.

We... have two, for some reason. I am more familiar with and refer to the younger one -- not the one that lives with Flora.

... that's... odd. But, no, I haven't officially met either one of them. I just... remember the one living with her was the cause of a lot of trouble.

Speaking of which, do you have a good idea of what happened? I only know what happened in general... depending on your answer, I might have a great deal to discuss with that boy.

I can only remember what happened... during Christmas, what she told to Jolt, and what was said over our phone. What led up to it, I've no idea.

Someone... killed her. I caught up with him--when all this was over. But I've no clue as to why he did it. Anyway, we picked her up, brought her to stay with us... and when we went back for some of her things, an individual she knew was hanged on her porch.

[He takes a deep breath.]

And then something happened between her and the Luke she lives with. He... had been lying to her, she said. About caring for her, I think, I'm not entirely certain. Jolt would remember more than I do.
