Gwen opened the door of the apartment to find the table set and Rhys over by the oven. She smiled as she popped down her keys and handbag. The TV seemed to be on News 24 and the story about Wales winning the rugby against the English.
She walked to the kitchen and wrapped her arms around Rhys’ waist.
“Hello darling, you’re home,” Rhys said turning around in her arms, “I thought you wouldn’t be able to come home because Torchwood......”
“So did I,”
It was going to be a wild night for Torchwood.
