Silence (Challenge 128: Fallout)
Two days after Tosh and Owen’s death, Ianto took Jack to the local pub. For the first time Jack ordered two beers and sat down quietly, wondering what to say.
Ianto sat silently, also wondering what he should say. His thoughts soon turned to the question which would open the wounds again. Do I take the risk? He asked himself.
Soon one beer turned into ten but the silence stayed as a tear fell down Ianto’s cheek, he couldn’t take it anymore.
“Why do people fucking die Jack?”
It was met by awkward silence.
If only they knew the answer.
