Gwen Cooper thought about her first day at Torchwood. She had released an alien gas from the asteroid, apologised five times, kissed a girl down in the torchwood cells, kissed her boss and somehow saved the day.
Now Jack was telling her to switch off at night and not let her mind drift. But right now while she was eating lasagne with Rhys she couldn’t help but think what she had seen. Would she be able to switch off or would she let herself be consumed? Honestly she couldn’t answer that for certain.
