Ianto felt powerless as he knelt beside Jack’s body. Grieving wasn’t an option because Jack wouldn’t be dead for long. It was hard for him because he didn’t know what to do before Jack woke up. He sometimes thought that Jack would probably felt powerless when he couldn’t stop the deaths of those he loved. That seemed to comfort him greatly.
Today he decided to lie beside Jack and look up at the stars entwining his hand in Jack’s. A few minutes later Jack gasped for breath and looked over to see Ianto smiling at him.
“Did you miss me?”
