Hope and change (Challenge 103: america(n))
“I see the inauguration is on Tuesday.” Jack said pointing to the article he was reading in the newspaper.
“Yes the first African American president.” James Elton said with a smile. “The 21st century is when everything changes.”
“Hey, that’s my line.” Jack said jokily.
James smiled and went back to the magazine he was reading.
Jack thought about those words. People everywhere were going to gather around the television and see an African American sworn in as president just like they did when he was elected. Change was in the air.
The human race hoping for a better tomorrow.
